Night Family Fun on the Domain

We are looking forward to the 8th of July when the Mercury Light Hub will be switched on! And this year it will run for 17 nights!

The Mercury Light Hub runs from 5pm - 9.30pm from Friday 8th - Sunday 24th July.

From 5pm - 8.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday of both weeks (13th - 16th and 20th - 23rd, weather permitting) there will be live music, food trucks and tuk tuks onsite.

Also on the Tongariro North Domain you'll find the Rapids Jet Ice Slide and Wairakei Estate Ice Rink and Gathering Events will be running a Silent Disco in the igloos so you can get your groove on!

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home.
