For 16 nights, the Tongariro South Domain will be transformed to a wonderland of colour and sound that will spark your imagination and create forever memories! This year, Mercury is adding to the line up with the Second Sun! Standing tall at 8 metres high, and boasting over 8,000 LED bulbs, the Mercury Second sun will be brining summer vibes this winter.

We can’t wait to be back on the playground side of the domain with the Lion’s Train running at night too.

Our much loved glow-in the dark candy floss will be back on Friday and Saturday nights only! (5th, 6th, 12th & 13th)

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
